Laura French elected President of the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation Counsel

Conyers, Georgia June 20, 2012 – The Georgia Electric Membership Corporation Counsel Association (GEMCCA) has selected Laura French to serve as its President for 2012-2013. A partner in the law firm of Talley, French & Kendall, P.C., Ms. French has served as general counsel to Snapping Shoals EMC for over a decade. Ms. French is the first female EMC general counsel to serve as GEMCCA’s President. GEMCCA provides a forum for attorneys to tap into the collective expertise of their colleagues in order to represent their EMCs and members effectively and efficiently.

Ms. French received her juris doctor from the Georgia State University College of Law and her LL.M. (masters) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. Ms. French is a counselor and advocate of clients, providing solutions and support to families and businesses throughout the course of life.
